Established in 1988, Community Employment Services (CES) is committed to providing high quality, integrated, community-based services to adults with various developmental disability labels.

CES works to provide personalized services which promote the interests and respect the choices of each individual served. Resources and various supports are identified and utilized to effectively impact on developing, expanding and enhancing real and typical work, community and living opportunities that result in a valued and satisfied community member and neighbor.

CES believes each and every person has the right to enjoy life in his/her community with dignity and respect.

CES is a support service of SDC, Inc., a private, non-profit organization celebrating 30 years of serving individuals with developmental disabilities in our local community.

Working with the individual and others in the person’s life, Community Employment Services strives to develop individualized support services to provide opportunities and maximize individual potential in daily living, employment, recreation and the community. Dignity and respect for each person’s rights, choices and preferences is of utmost importances.

General Information:

Type of Services: Integrated Work/Community Living Skills

Support Services: 100% community-based. Assistance in obtaining and maintaining paid employment in the community. Community living skills instruction in natural settings.

Transportation: Consumers utilize public transportation; support staff accompany individuals as necessary.

Funding Source: Golden Gate Regional Center (GGRC)
